*Our resins and hardeners can be measured by weight or volume for mixing ratios*
Step 1: – Read labels thoroughly for mixing ratios, EcoPoxy® has a 15 -20 minute pot life (make sure all tools
and
crew are ready to work before mixing).
Step 2: – Mix Resin and hardener separately for approximately 2 minutes, use separate epoxy mixing paddles
for each one.
Step 3: – If cutting in an area with a small amount of product is needed; carefully measure the correct amount by weighing or pouring into measuring cups. For example (2 to 1 ratio means 2 gallons of resin to 1 gallon of hardener)
If not move to step 4.
Step 4: – Pour Hardener into Resin bucket, mix together for 2-3 minutes, and make sure products are fully mixed.
Step 5: – After product is fully mixed pour into 2-3 clean buckets, equally full. Give each person an adequate amount of product to work with within a 15 minute time frame. TOP COAT ONLY -cast quartz, pumice or silica sand over area while wet for a non-slip finish
Step 6: – Clean equipment, or hands etc. with denatured alcohol, if you spilled

CLEAR AND COLOR TOP COAT NOTES:
- Do not coat if there is a threat of rain on the day you are coating, we recommend you coat early morning before heat rises or late afternoon when temperature drops. If dew is on surface, clean surface with multiple clean towels or wait until sun burns if off.
- Do not keep rolling the same area, once the area is covered move to another section, this is a coating not a paint.
- Never Coat a wet surface
- Use Quartz, pumice or Silica Sand- used to make an area non –slip, EcoPoxy Systems™ is not liable for slip and falls.
